CASHEW CHEESE SAUCE

Serves 4-6

1 1/2 cups raw cashews (soaked in water for 2 hours)

2 cloves garlic

1/4 cup nutritional yeast 

1 cup coconut milk (or any non dairy milk of your choice)

1 jalapeno, chopped

1/2 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 tsp paprika 

1/2 tsp onion powder 

1 tsp dijon mustard 

1 tsp sea salt, to taste 

freshly ground pepper, to taste 

2 tbs fresh lemon juice 


*Throw everything into your blender and blast on high for about 1 minute, until smooth and creamy. Tweak the lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt to taste. Add 1 tbsp of vegetable broth if thinner consistency is desired.
